Find something cool!

While many Lego EV3 projects were of interest to me, one in particular that was quite impressive to me was the LEGO EV3 Elephant. I was intrigued, as this robot was able not only to move, however it was able to walk using all four legs in a natural way. The Elephant features a fully functional trunk with free range of motion, as well as a tail, ears, a head and various other realistic traits. The Elephant was able to pick up a small structure from the ground using its trunk in order to transport and set down the object in a new location, much like a real elephant would. Also, a close up shot reveals the tail wagging vigorously. This robot is very "cool" and is able to carry out realistic tasks unique to that animal which it very accurately represents. While this robot does not necessarily make life easier as much of today's tech does, it is very fun and cool, and sometimes that is enough.
